Pork Patties with Feta Cheese

Pork patties with feta cheese are so good because the mild flavor of the pork pairs perfectly with the salty, tangy feta, creating a well-balanced bite every time. Plus, the grated vegetables make the patties extra juicy and tender, which keeps them from drying out while cooking.

Ingredients:

  • 450 g ground pork (preferably from pork leg)
  • 130 g carrots
  • 80 g zucchini
  • 70 g feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Sweet paprika powder, to taste
  • Khmeli suneli seasoning, to taste

For the salad:

  • 100 g spinach
  • 100 g tomatoes
  • 70 g bell pepper
  • 70 g cucumber
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Grate the carrots and zucchini, then mix them with the ground pork, egg, and seasonings.
  2. Take some of the meat mixture in your palm, flatten it into a small patty, place a teaspoon of feta cheese in the center, and seal well.
  3. Cook the prepared patties on an electric grill, or alternatively, fry them in a pan or bake in the oven.
  4. For the salad, chop the vegetables, mix them with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and seasonings, and serve alongside the patties.
